Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who is well-known for his role in the famous television shows like 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to develop an interest in acting. At the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. Though he has been active on film and television however it is his roles on the small screen that earned him a cult fans. He's been able seamlessly play the roles of characters on both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' attention. He played the part of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in and then went on to take on the role of an NYPD detective. His performances on small screens were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His signature striking blue eyes that have been said to make the actor look gorgeous. They have helped to portray the rough characters in an enthralling way. The year 2006 was the last time he was featured on People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
